Why Congruent exists
The insurance and retirement systems serving America's workforce were not designed for today's economy. Congruent is building something better.

Mission
Congruent is a permanent financial institution structured to protect the American worker and their assets. Congruent has an obligation to build an institution that makes today's economy accessible to the American worker. No fund cycles, no exit timelines, no misaligned incentives.
Congruent's initial focus is insurance and retirement products, starting where institutions already concentrate workers, with capital designed to support them over the long-term.
Every premium dollar and every retirement contribution is held to one standard: it comes back to the member as protection, income, or lower cost — measured over decades, not quarters.
Principles
What Congruent does for the worker
01 · Coverage
Purpose-built coverage
Held at the institution, not the employer — so a new job is a new job, not a new deductible, a new network, and a new waiting period.
02 · Capital
Long-duration capital
Insurance obligations run for decades, and Congruent's balance sheet is built to match them — turning patient reserves into stronger coverage and better pricing for members.
03 · Investments
Mission-aligned investments
Premium and retirement dollars invested in essential infrastructure, with the returns accruing to the member rather than a chain of intermediaries.
Approach
We partner with the most innovative solution providers, and hold the rest.
Congruent does not rebuild what already works. Where the market has a best-in-class carrier, reinsurer, or administrator, we work with them. Where it has a gap, we build. Congruent holds the data, infrastructure, and long-term capital needed to most effectively empower the member.
